Country brands are a rather arbitrary concept, because it is impossible to buy or sell them. Nevertheless, the "loudness" of the brand shows the position of the country on the world stage, its attractiveness for tourists.
For this reason, there is such a thing as country brands. Another rating of country brands was published by the Brand Finance agency. According to him, the brand "Russia" entered the top three countries that showed negative dynamics over the past year.
A strong decline was noted for the brands "Russia" (-31%), "Ukraine" (-45%) and Peru (-33%). At the same time, from a financial point of view, the first suffered the most. And if last year the value of the Rossiya brand was estimated at $1.167 trillion, now it is $810 billion.
Thus, the value of the brand "Russia" is 25 times lower than the value of the brand "USA", which tops the rating with $19.7 trillion. The United States received the first place as a country with a large-scale economy, attractive for investments and tourists, being a trendsetter in world fashion and trends.
Second place went to the China brand, whose value was estimated at $6.314 trillion. Compared to last year, it fell in price, but very slightly - by 1%. The third place was taken by the brand "Germany" - $4.166 trillion, a decline compared to last year amounted to 4%.
