The company presented the first ad since the beginning of the pandemic, which reminds about how good it is to get together with the whole family.
Social distancing does not necessarily mean isolation and loneliness. According to Coca-Cola, new standards could be the impetus for family reunification. The company is confident that people who already live together should gather at the same table more often in order to have the best quality time.
Titled "The Great Meal," the commercial features 13 real-life families cooking all sorts of meals in order to have a good time together while drinking delicious food with cola. The video reminds people how good it is to get together as a family and encourages them to have a good time this summer, despite the difficulties caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
This is the first large-scale advertising of the company since the start of the pandemic (before that, only individual rollers). It was filmed by Anomaly New York during the quarantine, and, as reported, with all precautions.
The commercial is currently being shown in the US. Then, in a few weeks, it will start broadcasting in Germany, Spain, Morocco, France, India and most Asian countries. At a time when cafes and bars are closed and people's movements are minimal, Coca-Cola decided to temporarily abandon billboards and focus on videos shown on television and on the Internet. At the same time, the company retained the general focus of advertising, only in the era of social distancing, people in it drink a carbonated drink no longer in restaurants, as it was before.
