An exclusive design collection called Activate Movement will be presented in a limited edition of three bottles.
The Activate Movement series developed by Virgil Abloh and his team from Louis Vuitton, includes a glass water bottle and two colorful refillable bottles, crafted from sustainable materials. New bottled water will be available for sale in April 2020.
A feature of the design of the new products is the swirls around the body of the bottles, formed from many small drops of water. According to the creators of the collection, this symbolizes that "even small actions have the potential to create creative positive changes."
The new series is related to a competition launched not so long ago Evian, which has a similar name - Activate Movement Program. The competition is dedicated to innovative projects in the field of sustainable design and the winner will receive a development grant of 50,000 euros. At the same time, a QR code can be found on each bottle of Activate Movement, which will allow buyers to go to the program website and apply for a grant online.
This is not the first time the designer has collaborated with Evian, and at the end of 2018 he was appointed as the company's Creative Consultant for sustainable design innovation. And in 2019, the collaboration resulted in Evian's first collaborative collection of eco-friendly glass water bottles, One Drop Can Make A Rainbow.
Evian pays special attention to the types of glass and plastic from which it produces water bottles. Today, the issues of environmentally friendly and recyclable materials have become extremely relevant, especially for the new generation of buyers. And in an effort to keep up with the times, the company plans to completely switch to using recyclable plastic for its bottles by 2025.
