Up to 100 types of various attachments can be mounted on these miniature trucks - for transporting goods, concrete mixers, hydraulic equipment, garbage collection devices, and the like.
multicar - the only automobile company in the GDR that survived all the upheavals that followed the unification of Germany (for example, barkas и Trabant sunk into oblivion). And not just survived, but also very well feeling. During the GDR, the company belonged to IFA and named accordingly IFA Multicar. When, after the fall of the Berlin Wall, IFA ceased to exist, the plant belonging to her managed to resist. And already in 1990 the world learned about the enterprise Multicar Spezialfahrzeuge GmbH. True, in 1998 it became part of the holding Hako Group.

The company began its existence in 1920. with Arthur Ade's mechanical workshop ADE-Werke in Waltershausen, Germany. At first, these were more like motorized carts than serious equipment - they even had three wheels. They were used in warehouses, ports and construction sites. After the division of Germany, the plant became part of IFA. In 1956, the plant mastered the production of autocars (for example, Multicar 21). With the introduction of the Multicar 22 in 1964, the product's popularity multicar began to grow noticeably. The novelty was already a real truck, just a small one. A single closed cabin appeared, the carrying capacity increased significantly. The car was delivered not only in the country, but throughout the Socialist Camp for 10 years. The next model was the Multicar 24 - a very successful car, but with a number of specific drawbacks - for example, the same single cab, which was clearly not enough, because the truck's capabilities had increased. As a result, four years later, an updated model appears - Multicar 25 with a carrying capacity of 2 tons. She did not leave the assembly line for more than 13 years.
After gaining independence, in 1992, the Multicar 26 model appeared. This model was not only technically “advanced”, but also had an attractive appearance - earlier, the creators of Multicars followed more functionality than design. To date, the company's products are made up of several models with different functionality.
The popularity of technology multicar on the territory of the former USSR has always been very high. Only by the beginning of the Olympics, in 1980, more than 200 thousand Multicar 25s were purchased. It is known to this day. So, in 2007, an advertising rally of the company's equipment took place, along the route St. Petersburg - Irkutsk (11.5 thousand km.). The run took 2 months and was successful.
