According to the latest Brand Finance report, WeChat is the fastest growing brand in the world.
The cost of this brand over the past 5 years has increased immediately by significant 1540%. According to Brand Finance, such a significant growth was achieved largely due to the emergence of WeChat new opportunities and the desire to gain a foothold in other markets. As for China, this messenger has not had any serious competitors for a long time.
When compiling the rating "Fastest Growing 100, 2019", Brand Finance considered about 5,000 companies from around the world. The vast majority of the brands on the list are from China and the US, with 39 companies each from those countries making it into the top 100 fastest growing brands. But at the same time, Chinese brands are in the lead, occupying every two places out of three in the top 30. They own the first four places, and their total value is 48% of the total value of the brands from the ranking - this is a staggering 856.8 billion dollars. The top five ranking looks like this:

The most expensive brand in the ranking is American Amazon (31st place), whose value is almost 188 billion dollars, and growth over the past 5 years amounted to 143 billion. Its Chinese competitor Alibaba also made it into the ranking, but managed to take only 97th place.
The first American brand was Facebook, ranked fifth with a rise of 747%. It also ranks second in terms of growth, having become more expensive by $73 billion over the past 5 years. The first brand of the rating not from China or the USA was Porsche - sixth place and growth 734%. Otherwise, the first 24 places belong only to Chinese and American companies.
If we consider the rating by line of business, then the banking sector is in the lead - 15 financial companies are included in the rating at once.
